At Open Door Preschool, parents and children learn together - and it makes all the difference.
While our preschoolers are mastering their ABCs and learning to be confident, curious and kindhearted little people in our world, their parents are across the hall, gaining the tools they need to be successful students, workers, family members and citizens by learning English or preparing to take the GED. We've seen this whole family approach lead to stronger outcomes for both parents and their children.
Thanks to Open Door Preschool, our preschoolers and their parents are on the path to educational success – but they still have a ways to go. They need your help to reach a better future.
For the second year in a row, Arlington Hills Lutheran Church gave us a $10,000 challenge grant, which means when you donate to our Open Door Preschool this fall, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar until we reach our $10,000 goal!
Track our progress to $10,000 and see more photos of our preschoolers and their families on our giveMN.org project page. Thank you for lending a hand to help Open Door Preschool keep building literacy skills!
